I enjoy contact with nature as a way to find relaxation and happiness. I appreciate local cultures and look forward to get in touch with them, especially by talking to natives. I like to move out of confort-zones and experience adventure. I love to serve and help people have a great experience in my country.
I got involved in travel through my company of tourist guides. I published for three years Cali's tourist guide. Went to college for five years in Bogotá and have close ties with the central coffee region since my family roots come from there. I've traveled to different destinations at least twice a year for the last three years. I feel comfortable about my knowledge of south-western region and would love to get to know better the south-eastern region.
My favorite gem of Colombia is the Barrio Obrero (Workers Neighborhood) in Cali. It has a long time salsa tradition but due to Cali's downtown decay it has a seedy look. But you can't judge a book for it's cover. Barrio Obrero vibrates with the richest tradition of salsa clubs and bars, with it's residents being protagonist of a never ending salsa party!
I enjoy planning adventure and rural activities, cultural meetups, night life experiences and road trips.
